Amy Daneshmand is the trainer behind Redtail Ranch Horses in Temecula, California. With more than two decades of teaching experience, Amy has built a reputation for developing confident riders and well-trained horses in the Ranch Horse discipline including Ranch Riding,
Ranch Trail [her favorite] and Working Western Rail.
Over the years, she became known locally as a go-to trainer for youth riders, thanks in large part to her exceptional lesson horses and a program focused on safety, confidence, and strong horsemanship fundamentals. Many riders began their journey with Amy as beginners and have continued riding and growing in the program for years.
As those riders progressed, her program naturally evolved from a traditional lesson barn into a more specialized ranch riding and show-focused program. Today, many of Amy's riders who started here a decade ago are now competing in West Coast Ranch Horse and AQHA events and continuing to develop their skills alongside the horses they ride and show.
Amy’s approach emphasizes thoughtful horsemanship, rider feel and building the foundation necessary for riders to capably maintain their own horses.
